Spider-Man: No Way Home
Filming on “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is nearing completion with the film’s star Tom Holland recently posting a shirtless photo confirming completion of his last training session for the film.

The shot also showed off a more toned and leaned down look than the second film, Holland has in the past discussed how he bulked up for the second film and didn’t like it. “Spider-Man: No Way Home” opens December 17th 2021. [Source: Instagram]

Peter Berg’s Film 44 company has set a new first-look deal with Netflix that will see “Spenser Confidential” and “Deepwater Horizon” helmer Berg produce and direct live-action films and series for the streamer.

Berg is next executive producing and directing the Netflix scripted drama “Painkiller” which traces the origins of the opioid epidemic. [Source: Variety]

Record of Ragnarok & Eden
Netflix’s doubling down on anime in 2021 continues with the trailer for “Record of Ragnarok” in which 13 gods from across the globe and 13 of the world’s most notable humans fight it out in one-on-one battles to decide the fate of humanity. That releases in June.

There’s also the trailer for “Eden” set several millennia in the future around a city inhabited solely by AI robots. On a routine assignment, two maintenance robots accidentally awaken a human baby girl from stasis questioning all they were taught to believe about the ‘myth’ of humans.
